to be honest with you, i'm not sure what part of the sunroof you're talking about offhand. i will have to go look, but sunroof squeaks are not uncommon. they have a special silicon-tape they can put on it.

as far as your gas is concerned, i would say something. if you brought it in half full or full and its almost empty then i would speak up. they may re-imburse you or they may tell you to shove off. but it can't hurt to say something. how many extra miles were on it when you picked it up would you think?

Go back to your dealership and tell them to put anti-rattle tape on your sunroof. I don't know if that will fix your problem since I have had my dealership put the tape on..not once, not twice..but three times. ..and it still makes slight rattles. As for the hard shifting from 1st>2nd..I believe that's normal for Honda trannies.

Can we buy this tape from the dealer? My sunroof squeeks/rattles at times, and my car is out of warranty.

i used 303 Protectant (designed for vynil plastics, dashboards-kinda like armorall but WAY better) on the rubber seal on the moon roof once a year and it has never squeeked since
this is given that thats whats making the noise for you

I'm sure its the same noise everyone else gets, because it only happens with the sunroof closed. Goes away once I open the roof.

The 303 Protectant will work - the rubber gasket is dry and rubs causing the squeeking when the sun roof is closed - pain the butt.

The tape the dealers put on only works for a year and the squeek comes back.... just mention this squeekness to the dealer the next time you go in, regardless if you have the warranty - they should still help you out at no cost.
