Hi everyone. does anyone have an idea about the cd types that fit this player. cause I burned alot of CDs but they didn't work and I tried an original cd and it worked.

 

I mean what type of blank CDs I should use. and on what speed I should burn it?

 

I don't think that year takes MP3 CD's so make sure you're burning as an audio disc




Also i find the round discs work a lot better than the square ones

 

i already burned them as audio not mp3. but even with 10x burn speed, it didn't work

 

off topic, but I remember burning playstation games at 1x! lol

This is a super old topic. Ill start off with, The Stock headunit sucks. That said some had luck with certain brands. If i remember right imitation worked for mine. Different brands worked for others. You will need to try different ones to see if they work for you. Personally i would go with an aftermarket HU. Not only will it sound better, it will give you many more options xm/sirius, mp3, usb etc.. Or you can get a 02-03 TL 6 disc headunit which didnt seem to have the burned cd issues
