So they're projecting the price of the Type S at just under $30,000. I guess the Nav system will bump it up to @ $31-32,000.
Does anyone have hard numbers?

... and the TL's rear end is of a multi-link design, not double wishbone.

Actually the rear suspension is a multi-link double wishbone design as it has both upper and lower control arms as well as a trailing arm.

Isn't it the "Unassuming" quality about Acura's cars that people like about them?
The wolf in sheeps clothing in a sense.
Underestimate me by the cover and watch me blow your doors off!
I can see the writers point about the "Uninspired" styling of the Acura line but the sales point out that the buying public likes it.

Lawrence, I agree. For some reason, I am drawn to "sleepers," which as you said, are underestimated by the cover but can beat the crap out of most of the cars on the road today, with some exceptions of course. The styling may be "Uninspired" compared to some cars, but I think the design of the TL/TL-S gives the car an elegant, refined, and classy look. I can't wait to get the TL-S in May/June 2001.

Yep....I always liked sleepers too! Had a 1990 Taurus SHO. Back then, not a lot of gearheads knew what it was....but they learned quick....LOL!
