Anyone Replace interior bulbs

Hi all, driving around last night, I happened to notice that some of my interior lights have burned out. There is a dim portion of my speedometer near the top and the lights for the "auto" and "off buttons" of the A/C controls appear to have burned out. Does anyone know how to replace these? Is it easy? Any DIY for these areas? Puhleez help!!!

You're going to have to take apart the dash and center console to get to those bulbs. Replacing the bulbs is the easy part - they just twist and pop out. Dismantling the dash will take a little while if you've never done it before. Do a search for DIY to take apart the dash/console; it's a good thing to know how to do for future projects/repairs. Someone probably has a schematic of the dash to ID the location and part# of the bulbs. Good luck!

Nope

Wow, it sure does look like a bit of work. I guess I wouldn't mind opening up the dash to get to the center console lights but getting behind the speedometer gauges are kind of scary Any one our there have a schematic of the dash, pretty please?!?!

its really not that much work. its only like 5 min to get the speedo out. once you have the black trim piece off its just like 4 screws and 3 wire clips behind it. once out you will see all the bulbs. what do you need a schematic of the dash for?

Just thought it would be good to have just in case I'm a handyman to an extent but I hate going based off a few pics if you know what I mean. Thanks, by the way, for the DIY!

BTW Is there any possible way that I could screw up the needles just removing the gauge cluster?

no. as long as you dont remove teh cover you will be fine. Just MAKE SURE NOT to turn the key to the on position with the gauges removed!

Its not as hard as the pictures make it look. dont get scared by it. its not difficult, just take your time!
