Anyone in MD want to help out a noob

I'm a novice when it comes to Mods/aftermarket changes (with the exception of sound systems, but that's easy). Does anyone here in MD have any suggestions on where to go/what to do with my 01 silver TL. I don't need anything insane, just want to make it look a little sportier. Thanks

There are quite a few aesthetic modifications you can make in order to make your car look sporty, but it's totally up to you. There are bodykits, wheel and tire upgrades, wing spoilers and lips, tint, grilles, exhaust or exhaust tips, and the list goes on. Any idea at this point how much you want to spend on just looks? BTW we have lots of local meets for the D.C. Metro area. You might want to check out the AcuraZine Clubs and Meets form time to time in order to find out when the next meet is. This will give you a chance to see some rides up close and might give you a better idea of what you'd like to do.

Honestly, at this point, I'm more concerned about aesthetics than performance. I can probably drop a few hundred at a time. Some of the body kits I've seen look very nice, but with installation and purchase will probably be out of my range. This might be a whim that I let pass, but I'm certainly interested in learning more about my options.

Since this looks like it's going to be a gradual transformation, for starters you could begin with a drop to close up the wheel gap or you could start out with tint for your windows.

Honestly, I wouldn't settle for that type of warranty. Any decent tint installer normally offers a lifetime warranty on their installs. Not to mention the fact that the install price seems way too cheap at $100, seems a bit shady to me.

I got my tint done at Personal Touch off Liberty rd. (Randallstown). 125 bucks with a coupon which they give out monthly, and 150 normally. They do a pretty good job and give a life time warranty.

I'll probably do the tints back in NY. As for dropping the car, where should I go and how much does that run? Thanks again.

Tint is a really good idea as a first step. I got the tints first and de-badged my car to help with the black on black clean look. Now I am looking for a nice rim/drop combo. got my tints done at GW motorsports near BWI.
