Post Anyone know FOR SURE if NSX calipers fit our cars????

I want to install some 97 NSX front calipers on my CL Type S. No one on the acura-cl.com board had an answer, so I thought my fellow TL buddies may be able to help. I appreciate it!

I specifically asked my friend who's an Acura mechanic this question, and he said that you'd have to do some modifications that would be pretty extensive, not to mention that you'd be playing around with a very critical component. He also said that you may encounter problems with your ABS functioning properly, and that you'd also void your warranty in a very big way. You'd better check with the guys from Park Avenue Acura to make sure before you go ahead. I'd go for the brembo kit, probably cost less too after all the custom work you'd have to go through.

Uhm, I'm 95% sure that they'll fit. I've had a shop tell me that they do (halfway reputable). And besides, a member, who will remain unnamed (cause I think he didn't want anyone to know) installed them on his TL a while back. I'm not sure if he did all 4, but I saw a pic of the fronts. They looked mean as all hell.

I would go for brembo front brake kit and put the OEM front brake to the rear..

thanks TL buds! i'm now sure that they'll fit, and they're on order. i was able to get a 100% confident answer from someone. i'll try to post pics and a little reveiw once i get them.

(by the way, you can't put the OEM front brakes on the rear. the rear brakes have a totally different assembly.)
