Hey Fiddler,
Is this gonna be voice activated, or are you gonna make the person tap the button? Will you be able to override the one-touch as it is opening or closing by tapping the button again? Would be a good safety feature.
I would buy the sunroof module from you. It'd be nice to just tap it to have it open or close.

NSXNEXT - if you want it to be voice-controlled, you'd need the Voice Rec unit. These modules are going to be stand-alone and offered as a low-cost solution (just tap the button).
Veloce - You would only need the module itself. Price hasn't been set yet, and it will depend SLIGHTLY on your setup but I doubt it would be more than $150. Installation will also add cost of course, unless you can do it yourself.

once my TL gets out of the shop and I can recover from my financial loss, I would love to be included in this list.
Put me down for all for windows and the sunroof. Don't forget me...I'll buy it for sure. I hate holding my fingers on the buttons. Let the car do all the work for you.

best way to be 100% included on the list, is to send an email to info@controlgenie.com
once the devices are for sale, i'll send out a mass email. and don't worry. your email will never be shared with anyone and will never be sold to spammers and such.

What about 'anti-pinch'. What kind of safety mechanism do you have in case my 4 year old gets his arm (or head) stuck in the window?
I've heard of kids getting strangled because they were standing on the arm rest and leaning out the window. They accidentally step on the window button and it goes up and strangles them, or catches them at the waist.
Does your system have a safety feedback?

A safety feedback system would have to be integrated into your car. My device would only, in theory, "hold down the button" for 3 - 4 seconds which is enough to close /open the window. Of course, if you go with the option of separate buttons for the auto commands, there will be an on/off switch and if you flip it off in mid-raise, the window will stop. I could also include a switch for the completely integrated unit that will let you disable the auto functions.

anyone interested in auto-up/down modules for windows / sunroof?
This is kinda a followup to a post by NSXNEXT, but basically, I'm gonna start making auto up / down modules as part of the catalog lineup on www.controlgenie.com
the modules will work for any windows and sunroof.
I'd like to get an idea of what you guys thing about it and how many are interested. If you want to know as soon as they're out, send an email to info@controlgenie.com.
Price hasn't been set yet, but it'll definitely be a lot less than the $250 clifford systems and wont need any other units.
operation will be one of 2 types. either replace your existing buttons and make them Only one touch, (this would be controlled by a switch so you can go back to normal mode) or put in extra buttons for one-touch.
Another possible thing is a button for "everything down/up".
k .. let me know
