any one replace reverse bulbs?

any one replace reverse bulbs?

having tinted windows is a pain. i was looking at leds for this but i don't think that will work. has any one replaced these bulbs to make it easier to see more when you back up? leds or regular bulbs? let me know thanks

uhh I have tinted windows (20%) and I have reg. bulbs but will be going with the l e d 's sooooonn...

let me know what you go with. i foung these 9 bulb super brights. for like 15 shipped.

The 9 LEDs aren't brighter than the stock bulbs. They do give off a very nice white/blueish color. However, during the day, they're kinda hard to see so just be careful when backing out in sunlight.

yea i changed my stock bulbs thinking the leds would be brighter but its not.i can barely see anything behind me at night and i only have the factory tint!!!stick to the stocks i say

put hids for reverse lights....i seen it the other day on an old accord.

omg using HIDs in the reverse would screw up the life of the bulb switching the HIDs on and off while parallel parking.

If you're gonna do a bulb conversion, I suggest using 4114 bulbs. They're the bulbs that GM uses for daytime running lights in the Tahoe/Suburban. Not sure about the light they put out compared to the stock reverse lights, but they're used for DRLs so they should be fairly bright.

he just said he has the 9 led bulbs and he can't see jack why would you want to do that?
