Cool Another tranny goneeee........

Last friday I was driving with a friend to school in my PIMP asss TL...ahaha. Then suddenly my tranny started jerking for some reason. It started slipping beginning of last month. So I thought I of flushing it. I went to tha dealer to get some tranny fluid and told an ACURA tech about the tranny and he told me to flush it and drive it for a week and see if that will work, but if it doesnt bring it in to let them look at it. So i flushed the tranny and it was a little better and then a week later, it started actin up again. So friday it was slipping and jerking and I had to drive home in 2nd gear (rough ride). So i took it into the dealer today and told them about it. So the tech told me that if they get the tranny out today and ship it out my car should be done friday. He told me that they was going to give me a brand new tranny because they were tired of fixing those old ones over and over again. Im happy to hear about getting a new one because my car has 91,000 on it and waranty is almost over. I have a 2002 blk TL-S. I hope it is covered under waranty because he didnt mention nothing about me paying anything. I think they are goin to replace an engine mount tho because most guys on here said taht they got theirs replaced.

Wow - I didn't think they made any "new" M7WA's since 2003...

They must have restarted a whole assembly line back up just for you!

ahahaahah I don't know whats going on.... I'm only 21 so they won't give me a loaner cause I gotta be at least 25. I hope they fix it under warranty cuz I called the service guy and he said that 10 to 1 chance that it is covered, so I have a very good chance. He said they waranty most of tha trannies but some they don't, (I DON'T KNOW WHYY) make no damnn sense. He said my milage was kinda high, but I told him I didn't past 100,000 miles yet though so it should be covered.

Only certain vin range of 03s arent coverd. So unless you are past the 7 year or 100k they will cover it
