I've got about 500 miles on my new one...

having the same sticking in 2nd gear that I was with the old one, guess I just have to stop pushing 2nd gear so high because that's when it gets stuck.

It should be under warranty if you still have it. A friend of mine got a new one after his gave up on him. And he only had the car for like 2 weeks. it was a 02' type S..

Not common on the TLS, I heard of only one incident on a TLS. His screen name is Redlined so I wonder why his tranny went bad

It seems as though the shifting is not as smooth as before. This happens when I'm around city streets below 40 mph in auto. I can feel it hesitating slightly before it switches gears. Is this a sign that my transmission is starting to have problems? Anyone else have this problem?

Peter.

What was the mileage on these trannies?? For the Type-S Acura did beef up the tranny over the TL-P secondary to the bump in power, but as was mentioned to date I have only heard of one tranny failure with replacement which was handled quickly and the exact cause of the problems was undetermined.

I have 11k miles on mine. I know this was asked before, but there was never an agreed upon answer. Should I reset my ECU to try to get rid of this hesitation? Maybe this would help?

Thanks,
Peter.

I don't know if resetting the ECU would help. I know you are referring the adapting the computer does to drive style, but if the problem is really bad, the only answer would be go to the dealership.
