. it was suposed to be last friday. this is the longest weekend of my life. sitting and waiting for my car to be done. i have forgoten what it is like to drive a car with any sort of power. its redictulous. i cant wait and if i get the car tommorow the next day my headers and system are going in. a little bump and a little vroooom. all in one day.
well they said i should have gotten the car back today but the place that was doing the aligment also had the steering done at the same time since they noticed it when they were moving the car to the alingment shop. but i should get it back tommorrow.
well its offical. i get my car back at noon when i go for lunch it just left the detail shop and the manager wants to take a real good look at it. before it leaves. i cant wait. till i can drive a car that doesnt sound like it is wheezing when i drive it.
I feel your pain man. I had a Toyota Corolla rental for a month when my Accord was hit. Man did that suck. The kid that hit my car wasn't even 16 yet. He was driving around his grandma's car without a license! I felt sorry for the grandma.
Lets seem some pics y0!

i got it back it looks good except the left fender they think is defective. im going to go back in and have them check it. the hood lines up but the fender is off just a smidge. no big deal but im anal about that shit. and another issue is that i can feel a grinding in the gas pedal when i moving. not at all when im stoped. but man the power difference from the corolla to the TL is huge. im happy i got my car back and the car looks great. i havent found anything else im worried about yet.

well here they are all night shots partially in the garage. i cant go all the way in due to the fact i dont want to infringe on the motorcycle parking.
sorry got a blurry one.

here is the gap between the left fender and the hood. (they think its a defective fender or hood that is causing the problem.

this is the left rear corner of the hood slightly raised up.

and one more

this is damage from one of the mechanics. im thinking they got in the car with a tool on there lap and turned the wheel and scuffed the leather. its hard to see ill get a better picture tommorow. its hard to see but i can really feel it. it feels like a scab. till it gets fixed ill call it a battle wound.

ill update how my meeting goes with the shop tommorrow about the fender/hood. steering wheel and the gas pedal.

one more side note. when i got the car it was daylight. and i drove over to my parents house and turned the lights on and i have no dashlights. just a blown fuse. already taken care of.
oo thats a good idea. ill have to see what they say. they might think im trying to jip them. but it was damaged since the accident so it better be fixed. i would be pissed beyond belief. you really dont wanna piss this white boy off, specially if its about my car.
its larger in the pics. just because you can see the bolt and the mess around it. but its getting fixed. i have to say that they need to really fire there detail guy though. there was wax residue all over the car. o well ill prob wash it tommorrow. they are really good at working with me i havent had an issue at all with them yet.
lol ok well it started getting fixed with an estimate of 6200. and 3 supplements later the cost is 11,857. so practially 12k. and with the new steering wheels im going to get. and fix what ever problem is with my throttle. it will be more.
