another one bites the dust

hmmm. a little shook up. and a little tired but here i go. i was driving down a main street in tacoma going over an overpass and the 16YR old kid desided he wanted to turn in front of me. well that was a bad idea. i did my best to turn out of the way and sheered the front of his Dodge Neon right off and spun his car around. and i ended up on an edge of a very steep hill. another few feet and i would have rolled my baby right off the edge.

i gave there car a nice bloody nose

did have to get it towed notice in the 3rd picture how off the alignment is. i drove about 2 blocks because it looked like it would drive fine. but it squeeled the whole 2 blocks. ended up getting it towed and will go to the repair shop in the morning and get it all figured out. well i have to get up in a few hours to go to the shop so bed time. ill report more tomorrow.

Damn man, two TL accidents in one week! First mine, now yours...I'm really sorry man. Did you suffer any injuries? I hope not, but if you did, I hope you get $$$$$ for it! I hope everything works out for you! Did the police find the neon driver at fault, or are they still investigating? Did the neon driver even say "I'm sorry"? Sorry for all the questions, but I know how emotionally draining it can be to see your car in its current image. Anyways, I'm glad that you are OK, and hopefully you'll be back on the road in your TL ASAP!

the kid looked about 12. if he has had his liscence for less than 6 monthes then he will lose it till he is 18. there were 4 passengers in the car. thats a no no for your first 6 months here in washington.

Glad you are ok, the TL can be repaired. They have the basic same law here in CO about young drivers. They cannot have anyone with them if they are under 18 I believe unless it's a sibling. Something like that.

ya im alittle bothered by it considering that they gave me a 06 toyota corrolla for a rental car because gieko will only give 25 dollars a day for a rental. and even the corrolla is 27.50 a day. i think that they should have to give you the closest comparable vehicle. im going to complain on monday. see if i can get them to allow a nicer rental because if im in this toyota for a month im going to go crazy. it has no guts yet alone balls. am i out of place for wanting a comparable vehicle???

it should be its a very reputable place. they do alot of the honda of tacoma and acura of lynnwood stuff. so i trust them. and geiko is a good company. im still waiting to see if it is totaled. there is some frame damage. and my CAI is smashed. so hopefully they fix that too.

if geico is the company you'll most likely have your car back in less than a week

its doubtful that it will be under a week there is some frame damage. i dont know if its my alignment or something else but there is something really really wrong with my front right wheel.

The damage done there isnt that bad. The suspension comp are bent a lil thats why the wheel looks like it does. Shouldnt take that long to repair if its a good shop

here are a few more pictures i got yesterday. the first one you can see what happened to my CAI. that upset me. i do have one good thing to say that is that my headlight still worked it was pointing at the ground but it still works my mom took the pictures so that is why there not very good. she likes to zoom in as much as possible and leaves out the details. but i was busy on the phone with geiko.
