Which series did you get?

type CS? or the RA?

Did you get the ones for Accord?

Can you adjust the stiffness at the back easily?

The only Tein's for our cars are the Tein SS's, which is for the 98-02 Accords. I just saw a black TL-S today outfitted with the Tein's parked next to a stock black TL-S...DAMN! what a DIFFERENCE in height! And he said it rides HELLA good! I must have these now!

also adjusting the shock dampening in the back, your gonna have to remove the seats all the time So it's better you test it out with the seats removed, and set it to something you like the first time.

just kind of curious if there is any advantage the tein has over the apexi setup.

I don't have either the Tein or the Apex'i, but I can confidently say that the Apex'i does NOT have shock adjustability. So far it's just Tein and Zeal as far as full-setup coilovers made to fit our TL's.

On our car there is ONE BIG ADVANTAGE...

TEIN got an elctronic kit where allows you to adjust the stiffness all INSIDE THE CAR... the controller looks somewhat like a Boost controller

Oh that thing. I saw it. I think it's part of a whole new coilover system from Tein. So I dunno if you can just buy the system and put it onto the existing coilovers.

Wow, so the Tein and Zeal has a advantage over Apex'i.

so does this in car deal come seperately or is it a package deal? And would the $380 be for everything or would you need one for the front and one for the back or something like that? and finally, is this even made for our car?

One for the front and back... seperate deal.... works on most of their coil overs... but it depends on your car... if there's splace to put that little squre motor....

damn....that would be sweet if it was one for the whole thing for the $380. Is the front easy to adjust? cause if the rear is really hard then it might be worthwhile but if the front is easy then screw another $380. I cant wait to get some coilovers. Unfortunately it probably wont be until after the summer unless i can find a Tein tree.

I was reading some obx brochures and I saw that they had fully adjustable coilovers (OBX spec R). I think it was about 16 way adjustalble dampening and adjustable ride. I'm not sure if you can adjust the camber, though. I didn't see any applications for the tls or cls, but I there was for the 98+ accord. Do they fit? They said it would be about $700+. Couple guys there said they were going to put it in their cars. I'll check when they get it and how it is.

Remember the Teins + Zeals do cost considerably more now.

Well I like 'em, but now that Tein has come out with the in-car adjustability, I would have most definitely gone for that. Man..that's pimp! Actually, I'm still working out some quirks with the Zeals, (switching back to rubber mounts, etc...) but I'm still satisfied.

I think I was the first TL to have them ON the car, but now I think like at least 2 others have them too, so the exclusivity factor is long gone.

I can get it for $750... or even lower... without the upper pillow mount... but that's because the US/CA currency... our money doesn't worth a damn no more

okay little ones...

The Apex'is are only height adjustable. The dampering on the Apex'is are probably fine for most people.

The Tein SS and Zeal B6 are damper adjustable and height adjustable. This is ideal if you are really anal and want that perfect ride or road course race a lot.

The new toy for the TEINS look really cool.

Oh well... My next car...

I'm happy with my Apex'is minus the weirdo noise that coilovers make... thunking and blunking noises.

=P
