Am i the onyl person here that is 16?????? i want to go to all these meets with everybody but i feel weird going because it seems like im way younger than everybody. I need to go to a meet and MEET SOME PEOPLE

Don't worry about it. A meet is open to everybody. Take me for example...I am in my late 20s but I look like I'm in my teens.

 

well i have talked to people of around 40 about my car, and he drives tl too, how about that? i am 24

I feel like that to sometimes I am 17 now but I got my TL the day of my 16th B-day and joined the board about 2 months later

How do you think I feel when I was at the DC/MD/NOVA meet last summer. There was a nice turn out of people & cars maybe about 50. I was the oldest person out there at age 39. We all have something in common so it should not matter. I feel quite comfortable talking & looking at cars with others. This is something I like to do it goes all the way back to when I was a baby. I had the carseat with the steering wheel & horn I had a coaster car at age 4. That thing had more steel than real cars do now it was heavy. I had the fancy bikes I could not wait to drive.
I could not wait to get my 1st car also & at 18 I got a brand new 1980 Honda Prelude. This was the best Honda you could buy at that time this is my hobby. I have got car mags since the age of 12.

yeah we are lucky. people tend to think im a spoiled brat but i take care of what my parents give me.

Age? You own a TL, welcome to the forum!

The only thing your age indicates is that, statistically, your driving inexperience will lead to a collision. So if you'd like to keep your TL (and yourself) in one piece try to avoid driving like, well, a teenager!

Enjoy your TL, it's a great car.

 

Not really related, but is it ok to go to a meet if your car is bone stock? I might eventually mod it, but for now I'm way too broke. I feel kinda weird going to a meet with my TL stock when everyone's is all suped up.

i hear statistics say 19yr olds get into the MOST accidents of any age, not because they're less experienced than 16yr olds, but there's just more of them on the road.. well, i told myself i'd beat that statistic, and i lost some idiot rammed into my camry (on the highway!) and needless to say, it was totaled...

oh well, on to better things now~
