I know its cool to love your ride but every since I got my Type S a few months ago i find myself looking out the window every now and then just to check it out. Am I the only crazy one doing this? What do you guys think?

 

Its just like your girl. If she looks fine, you can never get enough. Specialy when they are wet. I mean the car is wet.

 

Just wait until you have your "wet" girl on top of your "wet" girl. Nothing like it in the world! I broke mine in at 10,000 miles and both the girl AND car are doing just fine!:smokin:

Nutin wrong with it. Sometimes when I'm stoped at a light or something and there ia a reflection of my TLS I look and think. Damn we are all lucky to have a TLS.

 

I have a 99 TL and it looks 100% better than it did almost 4 years ago!:wow: I still stare at it every chance I get, even if it's sitting in the garage. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

I was waiting at the dealer the other day for them to bring my car around, and suddenly this black TL lowered, cleared lights, tint, spoiler, meshed grill comes around the corner sparking clean, I was just like :wow: damn thats a hot car. Oh wait, its mine

 

I've had my 2002 ABP for 8 months now, and I ALWAYS LOOK BACK AT IT whenever I walk away. Sometimes it looks so damn good that I have to do a once around before going on my way.

AND IT FEELS AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS! Every night, I'm always telling my wife that I'm going out for a bit, to get some "fresh air"... Then I cruise around and crank the music with the hot summer air coming in through the moonroof. I end up driving to nowhere for an hour each time and can't decide which sounds better... the music or listening to the VTEC growl.

I agree... It's a disease... Are we all twisted? Do we all need a cure? I haven't gotten to my Iggy style 10,000 mile break in period yet, but it sounds like a good "Three-way" to me :devil:

 

yup, same here every single time either i'm driving or stopping I always try to look for the reflection of the car and just stare at it...yup I think it is " it is a diseaase..."

I do the same thing. When Im stopped at a light I look at the reflection of the store windows.

 

It's an addiction...and well worth every second. It just means we have an appreciation for what's ours...and if someone disrespects that God help them!

 

Man, I know I just bought my car about 5 weeks ago, but damn. I look at it everytime I walk away from it. You know just to get an eyeful and to perhaps re-evaluate my aprking situation and any potential problems. And ever since I Zaino-treated the car I am even more obsessed. It's a good thing. I keep telling my girl this, but she just doesn't think it's healthy.

 

At work I park my car where I can see it and everytime I go get water I take a look! As a matter of fact hold on.....

Whenever I drive by a store with a big window I slow down a bit just to get a glimpse of the reflection as I roll on by! Can't wait till I can mod it some more!

Well I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only freak around. I'm constantly going out to the garage just to check on her all the time also. Sometimes just going out there and staring at it and saying I love this car, look at that color! My wife thinks I'm crazy too!!!! She says it's like having another baby in the house for me. You clean her, dress her (with nice mods), take pictures of her, play with her. She says i spend more time on the car than I do with my family! I guess I have my priorities in line...right???!!!!

My neighbors think I'm real anal too. I'm always washing it, dusting it, won't let the kids play anywhere near it:wow:

It's not a sickness, just lots of love for our rides!

 

I stare at my car every chance i have, park it out side my office window so i can see, i got hit in the front the other day (hit and run) so now when i see that mark i get very angry, out side of that its still a sexy *****

 

definately not the only one.......I'm sure I would look a little more at mine if it was a TL-S.....but I still like to check out my baby from time to time

 

i only look outside to make sure the headlights are still there......thats why i just leave the light on so i can hitt the remote and see them light up.

 

I'll have to do that in the winter!

I couldn't help it, I went home for lunch just so I could drive it! I got her all wet inside (its raining)!!!

 

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one, The best is when you get valet and you get to see her in motion. I also take a lot of pictures of her, they never come out the way I want them too.

But it feels even better when other people stare!

 

U guys ever wonder if there is sites like this and forums like this one were say BMW or Mercedees owners talk about their cars better then their women????????

also what would be nice is to have one weekend of all the cars get together somwere , it would be a ***** of a drive for many ppl but the ones wiling to make it , that would be a meet of a life time...

 

I know my girlfriend is annoyed at me now that I have the TL-S since I pay more attention to the car than her ... She really didn't like me spending an hour washing off all of the crud that got attached to my front bumper after making a 3 hour trip

Good thing she wont be here this weekend when I apply zaino to the car!!!

 

Yep, I've got it bad... I go out to the garage lots of nights just to stare at it. Then I sit inside for awhile and enjoy the smell. (I never eat or smoke in my car, that would be a crime!) Then I pop the hood for no good reason just to stare again.... AND MY ENGINE IS STOCK!

I try to time my evening "test drives" right around dusk... I LOVE the way the dash lights look just during that period. The way the lights turn yellow against the grey metallic looking background is PERFECT!

Most people here are obsessed with cars. That's why we joined this site, because we're interested in this product line. I find myself staring at my TL-S all the time. I cruise up and down parking lots looking for the safest spot. I anxiously walk around it looking for dents and scratches if I've left it out for awhile. I kiss my car good night and read it bed time stories in the garage. The TL-S a marvelous piece of engineering. ENJOY IT!
