I went to the dealership for some service today and somehow i got sucked into test drving the 2002 Tl-s and a 2001 Cl-s. I thought the 260HP was gonna be a huge difference, but guess what, its not. I dont think the Cl-s is worth all that extra it looked weak, the exterior is too plain. It needs a body kit worse that a Tl. The Tl-s they had felt quicker that the CL-s. I liked the 2002 regular Tl it had a bodykit, 18" chromes, nav, for $31,000. But damn that A symbol on the front is nasty, the headlights look cool tho, but damn that grill is too big and nasty. What do yall think?

 

Big ass grill. Other than that it kicks ass!

 

The Type S engine is really nice. You can definitely feel the pick-up when accelarating. However, I dont mind with the older model we currently have as a faster car means more speeding tickets. If worst comes to worse, headers, intakes..and more toys....

I think when we start seeing them on the road we're gonna be like "hey, cool, a TL-s" not "ugh, ugly huge grill".

Ok, maybe just me.

I HATED the new body style of the Mustang but, oh.... wait... I still do. never mind.

There is a big difference in acceleration b/w the TL and TL S.
I drove them back to back and it was remarkable.
Also notice the better looking guages.
