Done. Makes me wonder how many reviews I have read have been fixed. You read a reputable magazine like MT or CD and you expect objectivity. Not so I guess.

Thanks for the support, folks! I was recently on www.acura-cl.com and MANY of their members submitted reviews of their CL-S's and actually petitioned to get Dan Heraud (an automotive critic -- very ignorant and non-factual) removed from the three people who presented their professional review of the vehicle. Now, only Dan Jedlicka is reporting his review!

According to a recent article in motortrend (May 02)they posted a 0-60 time of 6.28 sec.
They also post a top speed of 140 mph.
I'm sorry I can't recommend a dealer in the Chicago area because I live in Canada but I got my TLS last week and my dealer (Downtown Acura) gave me 5% off MSRP about 2,000 CAD (1,400 US).

 

top speed is ~148mph

So far, so good!!! Does anyone know the actual top end speed of the 2002 TL-S? Also, what are the writers saying the 0 - 60 MPH time is for the car, once it's broken in?

I'm not a speed freak...just curious. And finally, in the Chicago area, I'd like to know which dealer to recommend to a friend. My deal wasn't that great...only 1K off of MSRP, including mud flaps and locks. Anybody, get a better deal some where else?
