In All Honesty...

i am really having a hard time deciding on colors to get for my
'03 TL-S w/navi

right now it is either Satin Silver or Aegean Blue Pearl

my question is, do you ABP guys ever get tired of your color and wish you would have gone with more of a conservative silver/black/white look?

i love the ABP but i don't want to get sick of the color after 8 months or so

so would you guys please tell me what you think

sorry for the lengthy post

lemme know

I like ABP. But I also like WDP. Silver is too plain. And somehow my NBP TL looks bigger than my boss's silver TL But that doesn't bother me, since everyone at work think ymride is better than his

Get the blue!

If I were trading in my silver 2000 I would go for the ABP Type S. Second choice WDP with ebony interior.

no need to think, the ABP looks better. They look sick when lowered with kits.

I think the blue looks great, but i don't like light colour interiors, they tend to be higer maintenance :p

yeah, black is dope as hell but come on... high maintenance

we have a black PT Cruiser (unfortunately) and that thing gets dirty if you breathe on it

I am really considering the ABP now...

ABP all the way!!! I consistentely get compliments on the color, even before the car. This blue has to be the best shade of blue out there! I think I've only seen it on Mercedes as well. But either way, I have had my 2002 TL-Type S ABP for 8 months and have yet to see another ABP CL or TL Type S on the road. Everyday I see Acura vehicles on the highway, but never in my color. They don't even give the regular TL the ABP. In addition, the women really love the color. I swear the color gives off a tint of purple under street lights at night. On the down side, it gets dirty fast like black, but the car makes you want to clean her at least once a week anyway, so that really is not a problem for most. Good luck in your decision.

I vote for ABP. That is a great color and I doubt you'll get tired of looking at it.

ABP

I have an ABP 2003 TL-S and it's definitely the best color out there. When it's waxed, it looks downright incredible in the sunglight, and at night it's a little iridescent...definitely ABP. The only downside is that it gets dirty a little fast...not like the black though.

Well, I'm partial to the blue.... but that's my vote. My car gets soooo many more compliments then others with white or silver. I personally love those colors too... but nothing beats the ABP. It does not get as dirty as I thought it would.... no where near black. I'll tell you this though.... I fall in love with my car all over again after I wash and wax it. It's just beautiful. I have some pics on my site, with some new updated ones going on tomorrow if you want to check it out.

As for the intake, I went with the Injen b/c it matches almost perfectly... better then the AEM.

Good luck!!

kman...

as much as i would love to wait it out and check out all the new cars that are coming out in the next 6 months i really can't afford to wait that long..

i think the 03 will be just fine for me as i am a 18 year old student at Hillsdale College and to tell you the truth... i'm in no hurry to see the remodel of the TL/TL-S, i think it is a very beautiful car as is and as much as i would like to see a 6 speed (i drive a stick now in my 300ZX) i guess i can live without one

anyway.. just thought i would shoot the shlt with you all

hehe and...
i think i made my decision with the ABP 03 TL-S navi instead of the SSM

thanks guys

If I could get ABP I would....sadly us folks in CANADA only get EBP which I did not like... I actually found out at the dealer after we negotiated the price and everything that there is no ABP and its only EBP ... so my choices were WDP or SSM... since I vould get SSM within 4 days (in stock) and had to wait for 2 months for the EBP or WDP I choose SSM..

IF they had ABP for CAN market I would get it (even waiting for 2 months) no questions asked !!!!
