Post After-market clock?

I just got a 2001 TL with nav on Saturday and I was wondering if anyone has found a great after-market small digital clock to put somewhere.

As you Navi owners know, you have to have the nav on to see the clock. That's not usually a problem, but if there was a good enough looking (meaning it doesn't look out of place) lighted (meaning it works with the lights out) clock that someone has found, please post it here! I think it's a small oversight, but still, I'd love to correct it.

Thanks,

Oh c'mon, whatever rocks your boat. Sorry though, not been clock hunting before. Although someone posted a link to a really cool miniature fridge that I almost bought for the TL.

Why? I thought I explained that.

Anyway, just went for another ride and found out the nav does NOT shut off automatically like the dealer told us, it just sits on that starry screen that INCLUDES the clock! So forget my request.

For some reason I have this feeling I have to preserve the Nav, like it runs on batteries that will run out or something. I have to get over that and just leave it.

I wear one, but it's not the type with a light in it, so it makes it tough to see at night. I'll just use the one in the starry nav.

Oh say does that star spangled nav screen yet wave. O'er the land of the free,
And the home of the brave.

It's a beautiful sight.

In the 2000/2001 TL, when not using the Navi, the clock stays on the screen when the star screen is on. If that's not good enough, just press the screen on the clock and it jumps to the middle of the screen and is about 6 times larger than when it is in the bottom right corner. Hope this helps.

Another feature us 00/01's have over the 99 Navi's.

Geez, a simple question gets a shit load of smart ass and otherwise unhelpful comments. I thought we were supposed to help each other on this board with helpful advice, not make someone feel stupid with sarcastic and basically useless posts.

Looks like I could store 7 beers and 3 six packs in the TL! Woohoo! And then you could get one of those magnet clocks and slap on there.

Wait, wait, this ones better... no freezer in it. Looks like 5 beers, 1 40 ouncer of Mickeys, and 4 six packs.

I didn't know either until I hit it by accident and it moved. I was like WTF!!!

My friend's jealous that his 99 doesn't do that. I love to rub it in.

Dude...I did not know about the clock enlarging when you tap on it. Was this in the manual, cause I thought I read it pretty thoroughly. Hmmm...I wonder what else I have.

I never put anyone down or IMPLIED their question was stupid in any of my posts.
As for joking and messing around, it doesn't matter, I do it all the time. Everyone on this board does it. So Grish, just relax man its all good. I just figure if someone is asking a legitimate question then they shouldn't get smart ass answers, know what I'm sayin?

By the way, if you have a concern with the way I am moderating please send me a PM. I am always open to suggestions on how to do my job better.
