Thanks for ResidualFreedom (Pat) and cheer-on from sc354 (Jeff) on the install. It was supposted to be a 2 pcs CAI with by-pass. For some odd reason the 2nd pcs didn't line up with any threaded holes in the engine bay to be fitted/secured properly. So at the end we converted it to a SR and then all works well. Love than hissing noise when floored and whoosh when shutting off. I have not really done a WOT yet so I'm not sure about gains (if any). But throttle response is for sure improved and I need not to depress as deep to get the car in motion

Also with everything apart we installed the grounding kit. I notice the engine does run smoother afterwords. I still have to test it at night to see if it can solve my radiator fan/dimming problem. But even if it does not fix or help in much it'd not do any harm

overall I'm very happy witth this install. Thanks again for Pat and Jeff for the help!!

 

Thanks for the recognition...I was more or less there as a learning session to see someone's TL taken apart, without me shitting my pants...cause it's not my car!!! Overall though it was fun, and now I'm soooo jealous of Steve!!! I love his car...it looks amazing on the outside.
