Around how much should I be paying to install my pulleys? Also does anyone know any good shops around the sacramento area?

Ive been quoted $150 bucks from local speed shops, some wont even do it. But a mechanic freind is doing it for $50.

Carboys in Houston, TX charged me $65 for the install on my V6 Accord. I can take a picture of the receipt if shops are giving you outrageous quotes. $150 is ridiculous since it isn't a 2hour job to replace two pulleys and belts.

Yeah, they'll fit for sure, btw saw your TL at the silo lot. I have an extra set (brand new) if u want to get them for 145 immediately.

haha yah, I was in a rush to get my stuff printed cuz the power went out.. I saw u walk by your car but I didn't know it was u who owned it at first. I was circling the lot waiting 4 parking and that girl stole the space too! =P

oh yah.. the set my friend wants to sell are silver, sorry.

if u ever go to the track, tell me! I'd be down to go cuz i've never taken my car to any tracks before.

Ask your friend if he's willing to sell them to me for 120 As for going to the track, do you know if sacramento raceway is open for drags on wed nights? i know sears pt will open in march but don't know if sac is open yet. would definitely love to go with you and see who's faster! =D Although I'll lose for sure cause i need HEADERS damnit!

diplo707 got the pulleys installed on his TL amongst other people on this board. At first I didn't think they would fit but i heard a lotta people already have them on. I'm supposed to get mine installed by motorsport dynamics in sacramento next wednesday. Also, I'd probably lose in a drag cuz I only have I/E and no headers yet. I'm thinking about getting the V-AFC or headers next. The number is (916) 366-7368 to sacramento raceway. I'd be down to go wednesday night if i's open. Do u have AIM?

how much is installation and what time? if price is right then let's go together. ask your friend if he's willing to sell for 120. Get both the headers and V-AFC, you'll be smoking Type-R's, or at least hang close! let's do it man, wed nites, but have to find out if they open or not first! no i don't have AIM but i have icq.

I called them and at first they said that install was 120 which is pretty bs. 30 minutes later I called back and BSed them and said that other shops offered it at 60 and 80. So they said they'd do it for me for 80 bux. THey'll probably do it for 70 or cheaper if we both get it installed at the same time.

my friend won't sell for 120 but u can get blue ones at this site for 163 shipped I think.

i payed 40 bucks for the install. of course that is discounted b/c of our shop. there is no way you should be paying 150 though.

i came to the realization along time ago that what ever I do I will need to do the tranny, which will be done hopefully in the summer.
