Adding a trans cooler after AV6 swap ???

First off this forum has been more helpful then any other source of Acura TL info I've found

Brief history.....used '03 TL-S for $600, 230k miles, previous owner worked at Acura dealer and kept great maintenance. One year later death code P0730, just under $1000 later completed AV6 swap with '07 Accord 5spd. No issues (serious) thus far of any great concern.

Here's what I'm thinking as far a adding an additional cooler.....the BAYA trans has no external lines to the radiator as the factory cooler is mounted on top (as all that have done this swap know) but there is a high pressure line from the back (firewall side) wrapping around to the side (just below the linear solenoid) This is the only place I can figure to add an inline cooling system. Of course using rubber hoses and lots of clamps would not be my first choice but more of a hard line flare fitting setup. I haven't bought anything yet as I'm only in the early plan stage of this idea and wanted to throw it out there for some feedback.

Most people are able to get many, many miles from their AV6 with regular fluid changes; even better 3x3 and a filter change @ 10k miles.

My understanding is that there's two issues: fluid breakdown from heat and clutch material accumulating in the filter/passageways.

If you stay on top of the latter problem with fluid changes (which an ATF cooler won't fix) then you are also taking care of the former at the same time; which would diminish the returns on an ATF cooler.

However: If you could convince me that a cooler would be an absolute MUST have item; I might try and go with the parts from an Odyssey that replace the TL's passage body with one (25801-PGH-000) that accepts high pressure lines (25930-PYB-010 & 25940-PYB-000) that feed down and near where an ATF cooler would reside.

I haven't convinced myself a cooler is an absolute must yet....however I haven't convinced myself yet it's an absolute not....would the trans benefit from better sustained fluid temperatures? overall lower fluid temperature? would adding a cooler in the high pressure line effect flow? will an aftermarket external cooler handle the pressure?....lots of questions unanswered but I haven't ruled it out...yet. feedback is welcome and the Odyssey parts thought is the best one I've heard yet in argument over an external cooler being able to handle the pressure......I'm 1000 miles into the AV6 swap without any obvious issues. No slipping, noises or odd shifts...so far nice and tight....BUT....I have gotten P0740 several times with no other symptoms, just the lights tripping (check engine of course, VGA and the triangle) Each time it tripped was sustained speed in 5th gear (50-65 mph range) If i use sport shift or D4 and stay in 4th gear all is well but after a 5th gear shift I get lights. 5th gear shift is normal with no slipping, just tripped lights. I bench tested the original dual solenoid and shift solenoid from the TL trans (5-6ohm on the dual, 11ohm on the shift, both clicked and moved as normal) I have extra solenoids from the '07 Accord trans I haven't tested but kept just in case. I'll try swapping them out and keep everyone posted....feedback is always welcome. I did a 3/3 with filter at 600 miles when I got the first 740 code but is hasn't stopped tripping.
