acura recalling 502 tl's made from oct 99 to feb 2000 airbag may not deploy correctly. 100 plus inspires in japan included in that figure. big hond recall in japan on some mini honda. it's on the wires...kman

Luckily I'm not in that range . BTW, Acura only built 502 TL's in tha time span ? I would have expected more.

Honda built a lot more. Of those that were built, 502 is now recalled

is it the driver's side airbag or the passenger side's airbag??
dealer once told me my passenger's airbag had some problem and replaced a new one for me... don't know if that's the same case as the recall??

How do you let alone Acura know if you have one of the "lucky" 502?

Thats what scares me...do i find out when i drive this thing into the side of a bridge at a buck ten and the airbags don't deploy???? Acura should have a very aggressive campaign to notify those certain vehicle owners of this potential life and death malfunction

Use your seat belt. I was in an accident head-on at around 90mph. The airbag deployed, but what save my life was the seat belt. I never even touch the airbag. I sit far from the steering wheel.
