I lost my all my keyless entry remotes for my 2000 acura tl. My cousin had another remote for another acura car (FCC ID: E4EG8D-443H-A, Canada: 850 102 1625A) i believe, but am not sure, that the FCC ID for my 2000 TL is KOBUTAH2T , Canada: 1983 102 297. Can I still program my cousins remote to my car or do I have to buy one with the same FCC ID? If I can't, does anyone out there have a 2000 acura tl keyless remote that i could swap or purchase? Do you think I could work a deal out at the dealership in swapping remotes too?
