Acura down...

29 degrees outside... I went around a curve going about 40 and my car started shaking.

Felt like I had a flat. Go out, no flat tire. So I'm thinking shit, its the suspension.

Kept driving slowly. So now I am at the tire shop getting them to check it out.

The guy said he wanted to drive my car to feel it for himself. I said okay and he got in the car and turned it on.

He put it in reverse and before he stops going backwards he shifts it into drive. THAT DRIVES ME INSANE! That's the worse thing you could do with a customers car! Especially when they're standing right infront of you!

Turned out the front wheel was flat. $11.03 and it was fixed. Besides missing part of school, hitting some sand on a bridge at 50mph, and the guy slamming my car into drive, it was all good.

Anyone ever had a flat tire without it looking flat?

Are you running OEM size tires? 215/50/17? With those tires it should be really easy to spot a flat. When you run bigger rims with very low profile tires it's harder to notice by eye. I can tell right away anytime I ever had a flat while driving.

So when you say you got out to check, did you actually check the PSI on the tires? Or did you just visually check since it was 29 degrees out?

I'm glad I'm never at the shop when I leave my car, I honestly don't want to know what they do.

They are OEM size. They are just cheap tires, Nexen is the brand I think.

They are pretty worn, a new pair is on its way in the next couple of months. They are getting louder and louder by the day. They are okay for slow driving but they roll over themselves in sharp curves.

And yeah, made me pretty mad that he would do that. Probably scratched up my rim with the tool while getting the tire off.
