Will CL-S mufflers fit 99 TL-P?

Hey guys. I don't venture over here much being a CL owner, but I am selling my stock 02 CL-S mufflers and a 99TL-P owner is interested in them.

Will the CL-S mufflers bolt right up to the 99TL? I've got the 2" piping and flange still connected to the muffler...it's just been unbolted.

Pics would be awsome too if someone already has done this

Yes, its interchangeable but your gonna have fitment issues. Since the TL piping is longer than the CL, the exhaust will sit rly tucked underneath + slightly misaligned. And eventually, it'll burn your rear bumper + lip if the weather + exhaust gets hot enough.. I should know, it happened to me.

I'm actually not the one with the tl, but how many finger gaps was inbetween your muffler and rear bumper for it to burn you bumper? My current exhaust system sits way farther in then stock, but has a 2 finger gap on my CL

...less than a finger gap on both sides. What makes your bumper burn is because its not gonna be centered, so that slight misaligned measurement causes the exhaust tips to touch the rear bumper.. which in turn will eventually burn.

but hey, thats not your problem, thats the new owners problem and if he really wants than tell him to spend like $50 at a muffler shop to have them aligned and lengthened
