damn im sorry about that. im always paranoid of getting rear-owned. i havent had experience in snow, but maybe 3m blue painters tape? and it wouldnt be too noticeable from far away cuz ur ABP?... gg. it might be obvious but don't use duck tape, that crap will Fu your Sh up.

That really blows. Looks like too much of a hit to cover up with tape. You could try, but I think it would just end up in a big mess.

Atleast your rear lip didn't get jacked.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope the lip is ok. Looks like all you will need is a new rear bumper. There is no need to cover that hole up since everyhing back there gets wet as it its from underneath the car.

I know how you feel man I just had an incident yesterday and I require another front bumper.

I just taped it up and painted over the tape with OEM paint.

Sorry to hear about your accident. The best is to use silicon caulking as glue to adhesive a piece of plastic on top of a big hole, it sticks and you can peel it off easily. Never use tape or duct tape, that will definitely ruin your bumper paint or makes it look every ugly; unless you don't care and will have the whole bumper re-paint anyway.

If you are getting new bumper anyway, then I would use duct tape that comes in blue, if available. I usually clean under the rear bumpers in spring time and there are so much sand/crap that ends up there so maybe having a gaping hole might help flush down all that salt and sand.

Are you in Quebec by any chance? How is that winter tire law affecting people? We could not get winter tires in Winnipeg due to shortage caused by that law in Quebec.

Why wait. Just get it fixed. If you get rear ended again you get rear ended. Just get it fixed.

getting rear ended is usually not your fault, unless your paris hilton or jenna jamison. So, if you have insurance, get if fixed. The chances of it happening again are rare, but just keep your eyes in the rear view mirror. That is what insurance is for, use it...you pay your premiums, now get back what you put in, just my

And in its weekend condition you could end up causing more damage to the body if it were to get damaged again. Id get it fixed and quit worrying about "IF" you were to get hit again.
