Accidently went in Neutral

I was driving and thought that I was in steptronic. I slipped the shifter into Neutral and it went past rediline. So my question is, is there a rev limiter in neutral. Could I have damaged the car? Im kinda worried, thanks.

YES, you have by passing redline you have hit excessive vtec zone. next time when you do that, put it to drive and the vtec will hit harder.

Yes, there is a rev limiter even in neutral. You didn't do any damage or anything by doing that though - don't worry. As long as you don't do it often, don't worry about it.

What's with all the Supra owners in the TL forums?

MoogieBoogie, stop trying to brag about you owning a supra! no body cares if you dont have VTEC in your supra. Dont you get it? you need VTEC to hang with cars here.:p

I do this as well, even though people told me it isn't necessary. It's just a habit I guess.
