Angry ac problem going whacko..............

Hey tler's

I got a problem that hopefully someone can help me out with.

Ok my ac just turns on by itself whenever it feels like, usually when i hit a bump then sometimes it turns itself off when i hit a bump again.

Next the ac just changes the tempertaure whenever it feels like after it turns itself on.

What do you think it might be?

that's the first time I ever heard of this problem. I would let the warranty take care of that.

Exclamation it may be electrical

a/c is wired to ignition. that's why it shuts off when you turn the car off. could be a tweaky solenoid/wire. i had a similiar situation where the a/c and radio would stay on after turning the car off. definately a dealer diagnostic visit!

Yea I agree, take it to the dealer. This is a time when your warranty is something u'd like to utilize!

Does this ever happen?

When you turn the fan to 'off' instead it races full blast?

Mine does this. It also turned off once or twice a few weeks after I got it --like you described--but then it stopped doing it.

never heard of such problem, unless it's on full auto or something, but that won't explain the temp settings tho.........i don't know, but as far as mine goes, i set mine the fan notch on the right of the auto so the fan is always on. don't know if that's good or bad thing.
