Unhappy AC blower not working

This is very strange. The fan/blower in my 2002 Type S stoped working all of a sudden. It was working fine this morning and now nothing. I can still see the AC display and switch modes and stuff. The fan in the engine compartment still clicks on and off. I have checked all of the fuses and still nothing. This happend once so I turned of the AC and back on and it was all good.

Please help, its 98 degrees in Richmond, VA. To hot to roll around town with no AC.

Did you find the fuse marked fan?
and the relay?
Pull the glovebox like you were changing the cabin air filter and see if the motor turns and check for burnt wires/connector

If you mean just fan by itself then no. I did check all fuses that had fan in the title. I have not checked the blower behind the glove box yet.

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago. Look at the pigtail(wire harness end) that plugs into the blower. Mine was burnt.

I just looked at mine and it was burt also. What's up with that.

Anyway, if I plug it in half way, it works. How can I get a new harness?

Go to the auto electric repair shop- they will have the right connector to fix
or you can have them do the whole job
Dust and such is a killer to electric contacts
Always clean electrical connectors with special spray clean when you can

i went to a junk yard and they sold me the pigtail for around $13. make sure the new pigtail has a few inches or wire so you can splice. splice the wires and put dielectric grease on the connectors. plug it back in and your done.
