99-01 Grill Removal Instructions
Hey all,
got a new grill recently and I want to install it. While it seems easy enough, is there anything I should look out for?
The DIY is for the 02-03 which has the grill mounted to the bottom, the 99-01 has the grill that comes up with the hood
thanks!

When I went about to add the mesh gutter grill mod on my 00.. I noticed one of the bolts just kept spinning and spinning until I had to actually break it off. I guess that's something to look out for but its pretty straight fwd.

Open hood, pray that all nuts come off without the bolts spinning. If so you will have to cut or break them off, then get fancy with some new bolts.

^thanks!
yeah I have all the new bolts I anticipate the bolts not being too good after 10 years.
It currently has an H badge on it. and while I really want the jdm thing, the badge is dirty and cracked (I'd assume from rock chips)
I didn't want to re-mesh it but I have a brand spanking new H badge that I should put for completeness sake...
btw, thanks to mr. maker for the grill

If there happens to be a case that one of the bolts keep spinning, no need to break it off. Take a thing flathead and shove it on the other side of the metal, there is a 'square' metal block that is normally supposed to keep the bolt from spinning continuously. The cause is a crack in the plastic piece of the grill.

oh ok! great to know clutch
p.s. you used a TON of glue to put that H badge on this grill!
It's got some cracks and what not in it so i was going to just take the badge off but I do not think that is possible, I'll have to remesh it with the other H (gray bubble)
