'96 3.2 TL Check Engine light *HELP*
Hello all,
I have a 96 3.2 TL fully loaded. It only has 40K miles and I don't drive it much.
Last week the check engine light came on while driving it. I checked eveything but nothing seemed to be wrong. The car idles and drives fine with no problems. So I borrowed my friend's ODB II diagnosis computer and we got the P1318 error code "Miss firing-Ignition System", so I changed the spark plugs but the light still on.
Any idea on what the problem could be? Anybody had the same problem?
Thanks in advance

Could be wires, distributor cap, gas quality, battery, alternator, o2 sensor.
Battery and alternator are very low, but if you are charging low, then you may not have enough amps generated to sustain high ignition, again low prob.
chech the plug wires first, then go to the cap if problem persists.
