7 years ago this week....

...I purchased my TL.

It turned 100,000 miles last Friday and I'm still on my original tranny.

No major repairs as of yet.

1 coil pack
Motor mounts - did the window weld trick
Radiator fan switch
Normal wear items

That is all.

That's pretty cool dood! Seems to be a rare occurrence with 2G TL it seems. My TL-S is already on its third tranny and it's not even 66K old.

While mine hasnt had the luck of yours with the tranny every thing else has been great with no real problems.
3 motor mounts
1 ac compressor (like 25k miles)
normal wear and tear
Aug 22 of this year will be 6 for mine. Hopefully it will be on the road for its B-Day

You averaged about 14,280 miles a year. Planning on a timing belt change in 5,000 miles?

s'allgood man. you'll find that many of us have had to replace our transmissions, but this is an inherent design flaw with honda trannies and not so much related to how hard you beat on your car. the good thing is that the replacements are free up to the time your car reaches 7 years of age or 100,000 miles.

From someone on the 2nd gen CL board. Same concept but he used a different product to fill them.

Congrats Neil! Mine (99 TL) is 7 years and 7 months old at 104K miles. Damn, how time flies when you keep modding. Had the original tranny replaced at 93K miles. Other than that just normal wear and tear.
