6 speed conversion, 2nd problem 9/2/17

Well i did it today. I ordered the 6 speed. Should be delivered early next week. Now i need to start buying the other parts .

Later today im going to start a new thread with the progress/process for updates as i go along. (with pics when available)

aww yeah! Hey how much was the 6 speed? Are you gonna replace the dash cluster? (I assume you could leave it if you wanted to..)

fsttyms1 your my hero.

When my auto tranny went last month I was thinking about asking em to install the 6 speed tranny instead. I doubt they would do it.. I haven't heard of anyone that has changed it to the 6 speed.
Can't wait to hear about the results. Keep us posted with pics too!

Ill keep every one updated as i go. est price to be somewhere around 3000-4000 (including type-s engine) some of the mounts are hella expensive

Don't forget the blue LED washers and acurazine sticker after you put everything back together. They both add 5hp.

if i am going to keep my car forever, i would do that after my warrenty goes out at 100k miles

but now it's only 55k miles

where did you get the engine and tranny from? a CLS 6 speed, or were they apart? BTW good luck and you are the man

I got the engine from a TL and the 6speed obviously from the CL.
