Some of you may remember that I was the first on the board to report a tranny failure back in June of 2001. According to Acura, I was also the first to report that problem, period! Lucky me. Anyway, I had the tranny replaced at about 8000 miles, 26000 miles and then finally traded the car for an Audi at about 47000 miles since it seemed the tranny was going again. Well, it did go out again. The dealer told me the old couple that bought it brought it in a few months after they bought it.

Has the tranny problem been fixed or are newly installed ones still failing?

 

We are yet to see for the 04's but Acura claims everything is fixed Im sure. But there has been Tranny failures in all the second gen. TL's.

 

My wife just asked me if this was the case...
