i'm going to get the window tint next week. i know a lot of people go for 35% tint. but, does anyone have pics with 50% tint all around which can be posted as i would like to see how's the difference. also, where u guys in new jersey go for inspection with tinted windows?

 

50% isn't worth it.....IMO. Unless a State Law prohibits you from going darker.

I have 33% on the sides

 

In Jersey you don't have any leeway so it doesnt matter where you go for inspection. On the front windows you can't get any tint at all, and in the back you can get whatever you want. Check out this link, it will help you out:

AcuraTL, clean looking car!!!

I have always been iffy on the body kit, but after seeing it mounted so nicely on your car, I have to admit, I am that much closer to getting one for my ride!

 

Go for it, it makes the TL looks alot more sportier, especially when it is lowered.

 

Nice car and in particular, those are the nicest aftermaket rims I have seen for our cars. The reason, they are not screaming @ you, rather just accent the car nicely. Good Choice.

 

Thanks. I've had them for almost 3 years now. The paint on the rims match the car perfectly.

 

Its no where near as nice as Acura TL...but here's my tints. %55 fronts and 35% rear 3. I didnt go for 35% up fronts because I was a chicken. But...if I had to do it all over again, I might do 20% rear 3, 35% fronts, and 50% windshield. I was suppose to do 35% rear 3 and 55% front 3 but since I had a radar detector, I didnt want to loose any signal strength.

 

i'm gonna get tint this weekend and i was just wanted to know what everyone thinks about 40% tint all around except the windshield.

Hey AcuraTL, noticed you are from the Bay Area too. I'm looking for a place to get my windows tinted. Where did you get yours at, and how is the tinting on the back window? I know that some people say that the tinting might mess with your reception for navi or radio? Also how much did it cost? Thanks in advance.

 

I knew a guy that used to tint car windows but now he mainly does commercial buildings. He did my car as a favor and I think I paid about $200 for all the windows except the windshield. The back window is fine, I don't think it affected the reception of my radio at all. I've had it a little over 2 years now.
