330ci manual pulled away....

i was hurry for going to church last sunday morning...

since it's sunday morning and no police around...i showed no fear for going on hwy and doing 110mph all the way...until i saw a 330ci blocking my way on the fast lane...

a couple seconds later he just floored it and so did i....we started from 105mph to 120mph and he was able to pull away from me!!!

then i was like...HOLY CRAP!! how could he pulled away??

we slowed down and went for teh same exit...then i found his car is manual...

no wonder he could pull away from me...

only if we could go for a little longer....i am so sure i could beat him!! coz the max spd fro BMW is at 125mph!!! lol

our TL's max spd is at 149mph....

even it is a AT 330CI, we still have a hard time to even with them on 100mph+, becoz of our tall 4th gear.

That's because the G35 has 28lbs of torque more than the TL-S.

I've driven a 330Ci and owned a TL before. IMHO, the 330 feels a lot faster than the TL. Also, the 330 doesn't seem to hit that 110mph wall like a TL would. Just a constant acceleration up to the limiter.

samkws, what do you mean by "the US dont.."? You mean the limiter? Or do you mean the way it pulls?

the US models don't have limiter

the Canadian models have~

so most BMW in canada has only a top spd of 206km/h
with the exception of the M models
