30000k service??

Hey guys. When i had my TL in for the recall she asked me if it was up to date on all the services....i said yes, but that got me thinking.....should i take it in for 30k service?.....i don't want to spend more than $250......i know they do stupid shit like rotation, alignment, ....and those are the things i DON"T want to pay for.....is there a way i could only have them do certain things?

OR

Should i take it to my mechanic, and tell him to do those things?

I don't want to neglect things on the car that are hidden, and all of a sudden be overdue on servicing...(ex. the interior filter which is overdue for changing....i'm doing that this weekend).
BTW- i have 23k on the car NOW.
Thanks. -shawn

dont waste your money on any thing other than oil changes, tranny flushes and tire rotations. you dont need to go to the stealer to do thet. if any one works on your tranny make sure you keep documintation and that they use honda ATF. i wouldnt wast any money till 100k. then do the all fluid change and timing belt and water pump

That's what I've been thinking, too. If I blow off the next major service time, could my warranty be at issue if my ride sh*ts the bed the week after?

Like Shawn744, I don't want to give my money away on dealer schemes, but I don't want to neglect valid checks/inspections, either...

Oh, looks like fsttyms1 made my whining irrelevant. Thanks for the feedback!

oh yeah, i didn't think of that either......my warranty......do you think i might HAVE TO do those services to have them honor the warranty?.....or else they'll say "it's because you didn't service it"......

i have 162,000 miles and never had a problem.

as for the maint, you dont have to have it done at the dealer for them to warrant covering it under warranty.
