2g TL vs 08 Mazda Speed3

So just like the title says. Has anyone here ever raced a Speed 3 with their TL??? My buddy wants to race me with his speed3, but im pretty sure he will take me.

those things can run 14 flat with a good driver.

easily in the 13's with a bolt-on or two.

Don't even give him the satisfaction. You'll get owned. A blown CL-S6 could keep up probably but not an auto TL.

Actually if he's not a speed shifter you stand a chance my friend has a highly modded 07 i raced him in my barely modded 02 and from 1 to 2nd it was neck and neck then 3rd came and i was shit upon just race to the speed limit and call it a draw. My friend is extremely kind to his transmission so he refuse to speed or no lift shift so if your friend doesn't either maybe there is a small chance in hell.

What about a TL-S with bolt-ons vs a speed6. They are heavier, any chances here ?

the 6's are equally as quick if I'm not mistaken. the TL-S would need to be moderately modified.

not many 2G guys running in the high 13's- low 14's range.
