I see you left the OEM diffuser....hmmm. I might give it a try. Also, I don't think you had to remove the whole surrounding as you did, but then again, you might have been doing other installs at the same time...so what do I know...:P

yea i was also fixing the cup holders in the center console because they wouldn't stay shut. i had to take it apart to get to the gears inside of it. while i had everything apart, i also cleaned and detailed the whole center console (each piece individually) because of spilled food and drinks and stuff.

i think i am going to take it apart again and add in the plastic piece in case i drop things on it in the future

i also was using the paint stripper to get the shift plate chrome, so yea i did have a lot of things going on at once.

it was also easier to get to with everything off and i didn't want to scratch the wood.

I hope you don't mind waiting a bit (next weekend perhaps?) because i'm currently finalizing the 3rd batch and any orders coming in now/in the near future falls in the 4th which has yet begin production. I just need about 2 more orders to be placed before starting on it. I'll keep ya posted via PM... and thanks for letting me know.

Well yesterday I decided to try this mod myself and so far other then the finger print smudge, everything turned out fine. Hey Subtle you can probably try some high gloss black paint also but thats just a suggestion. I ll probably make another one without the smudges and post up the pics later

to everyone in the 3rd batch:

all indicators & LED's have been shipped out as of yesterday (Feb 10th).
i apologize again for the massive delay... i was my bday 3 days ago and then was in san diego for a business trip and just got back. nonetheless it's my fault for not putting aside enough time for this batch. to ensure that no LED's would fall out of the envelopes (as happened twice in the prev. 2 shipments), ive taped the holes on the sides... all should be good!!

The system works so that the customer PAYS the seller with a predetermined pricing. How & why would I charge you a different price as stated in the very first post of this thread?
