Ok guys, I am planning on selling the shift gate indicator replacement-only for $15 shipped. This of course includes the indicator itself, handling & Paypal fees, and instructions (the current online DIY will be updated with a bit more details). Now, for those of you that wishes to get the white or blue LED along with the indicator as a package, I am offering both for $17.5 shipped. The $2.50 extra for the LED is actually cheaper than how much you would pay from autolumination.com or v-leds.com ! 
This is the first batch special pricing! I understand that some members might be bothered by the slight hot spot on the 'D', or that the letters are only lit unicolor, or because "it is only a piece of plastic" - but it's a time-consuming process to make. If the earlier concerns can be fixed in the future, then surely a 'version 2' of the shift gate indicator will be released - along with a discount for returning members. Until then, what you see in the pictures is what you'll get.
Here is the list of all 2G owners from this thread who are interested in the GB, and wanted a price to give the final decision. It would be great if you could reply to confrim your interest in the purchase and send the payment. My paypal account email is jonathan0208@hotmail.com, please include which indicator (4-spd or 5-spd), and option you would like. If it's the package, which color (white / blue) LED to go with, thank you!

the 02 isn't chromed underneath like the 99's. do a search for chrome shift plate and you'll see the discussions about this.
you'll have to take the plastic escutchean out and take it to a shop to chrome plate it.
you can't seriously expect Subtledreamer to do that for you.
if you're really in queens, drive around those industrial spots or call 311 to find out who does chrome plating.

I actually don't have a 5-speed done yet, but it will be by monday when I use my friend's CL-S' as a template. Rest assured it'll have the same quality and style as the current 4-speed, with the only difference being that the letters would be D, 4, 3, 2, 1. You can wait until I have pics or if you have enough faith , go ahead and place the order!

5 SPEED BLUE LED PLZ.... i live in TORONTO, ONTARIO (canada) so please let me know what the extra fees are.. and it would be nice if u marked it as a GIFT so i dont get screwed with customs... It would be nice if all other Toronto (and near by area) ppl get together so we can install it with each other's help....P.S (i know this is out of topic but...) if there is anyone out there who is willin to install BLUE LED's for me (climate control, speedometer etc.)or basically replace the oem green look, i will pay for their service.... I have completetely stripped my car before but i rather pay someone to do the dirty work lol.... will also provide beer! (i'm just a hugeeeee lazy ass..... yes...

btw sutble, i did the gauges and climaite ctrl, and regarding things like the fog switches n stuff, and seat warmers, u find any leds to fit in those? what size is it, ill help find some if ud idnt get any yet

I want the 4 spd with the blue led, but would like to wait until you have the hotspots fixed. I would like a more even look to the light and know you will have it figured out soon with all of the suggestions that you are getting from everyone. I already deposited money in PayPal, I am just waiting the 3-4 days for it to clear through the bank.
Let us know when you have that figured out and possibly post pictures, then I will order that one.

Please paypal the $ to: jonathan0208@hotmail.comI haven't found any replacement plug-n-play LED's for those yet. The only solution right now is to find yourself or order the LEDs from automotiveleds.com, and do the soldering yourself.
