I made one for 5-spd by myself. I created indicator in MS Word and print on foil using laser printer. Then I realize that printout look much better from "unprinted" side so I mirrored and printed twice. Look great, clean and very detailed.
I`ll post pix later.

nice... thanks for adding me to the batch... when I asked about the LEDs, I was basically asking if you were going to be making a 4th batch and if I could squeeze in if you weren't. I wasn't asking for an extra LED, so keep that if you need it for someone else. Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this!

I think it will work good, but try to print 2 layers, because ink doesnt work too great with foil. If you have 5-spd I can send you file with Ind ready to print.

wtf that lil bulb under the diffuser is a bitch to take out WTF!! after 7 mins of trying, I got pissed and got some plyers and just crushed it and pulled it out using the wires inside the bulb hahaha, But at least now I have the White LED in there, Thanks Subtle I got the LED by the way.

HAHA well it was a bitch to take out and all you had to do was slowly pull and pull and pull and slowly it will come out but it hurts like a mofo.

wow great job, i took out the "D" in the gears and just put the numbers, but man this is so clean and letters are preciision and everything is accurate. lol if you thought of this couple weeks earlier, youd be making bank right now. great idea man. you post a thread on this so people can see it since its hidden on here.

4th batch was shipped out just earlier~!

i spent a GOOD amount of time making sure this batch is as IMMACULATE as possible - 9 thin layers of spray paint specifically made to bond to plastics better. i hope everyone will be happy with their indicators even after the long wait. thanks a bunch for your patience & feedback with the groupbuy... and do post some pics once you guys receive them.





btw: hopefully no one loses their LED again like the previous batches (*shakes fist @ USPS), i'm totally out of LED's!

You can buy it in Walmart, Kmart etc, kind of film or foil sheets for printing, I dont know the name of it , cos I picked it up from my work

You can find on ebay or else you can go to autolumination or superbrightleds or tectoyz. Ebay I must say is the cheapest by far.

He doesnt sell it anymore, but there is a DIY for this if you search under subtledreamers posts. Its not hard at all, I've tried and made some myself also.

I wonder how it would come out on transparency plastic sheets. Since the printing side is kind of frosted for the ink to hold onto something, it may look pretty cool + provide some light diffusing.

thanks for the indicator jonathan looks great, the indicator fell between a crack in the shifter took forever to get it out. Pratically unscrewed my whole console just to get it so what takes 5 minutes took me 25 mins but it looks good

I did something to fix the Hotspot, I got some toilet paper, and as you all know, a piece of toilet paper is really two thin pieces together (Im talking about good quality Toilet paper). I seperated it, and put it under the D4, and it looks good.
