Lightbulb 220 hp at the wheels

has anyone pushed 99-01 tl to 220 hp at wheels or more without forced induction is it even possible

I threw out a 188hp and 188 torque with just SR intake and custom 2.5 exhaust

Yea that's definitely possible. I'm thinking full bolt ons plus maybe p&p intake pieces and you're there, if not, pretty close.

Oh and....6spd swap to get there faster....

Yes I bet you can. If you dont go 6spd then youll need I/H/E/P, P2R spacers, high flow cat at least. Probably a little more as I bet youd be a little short. In that case PnP the TB, IM and lower runners and you'd be there most likely.

idk, my 03 tl-s put down 225whp/194wtq and its fully bolted minus the 09 TL IM... which is ordered.

not sure how much hp would be affected, but you are probably at a higher altitude than baltimore

i had 215 with intake, headers and 2.5 catback with stock mufflers

ahh these tl's are beasts when they are finely maintained and tuned. phee did u have any spacers or pulleys installed? what would 215whp be at the crank?

215 at the crank would be around 240ish dont quote me but i want around 270 at the crank heres my guestimation Intake,headers,atlp exhaust,ur pulleys,high flow cat,tb spacers,and an 09 intake manifold just plotting my direction after my jdm conversion any idea wat i'll put down with all that...has anyone done it before

our autos tend to loose about 20% so it would be around 258+- at the crank.

its between 20 and 25. I was being generous with the flat 20, but its all a estimate. (given those that have dynoed stock come in around the 170-180 mark at the wheels) which would be the 225 at the crank with a 20 - 23% loss. I have see a few come in in the upper 160s in the past.

the purpose of all this is to match or exceed an 04 maxima because i got smoked but that max heart my pride lol either this or get an ss impala like i started to do before i started maintaining my tl

no that was at the wheels. dyno was done around october time about a year or two ago. im looking for the screen cap but i cant find it.

only mods i had are listed.
