2004 Tl??

i've heard several places that the TL will be redesigned for the '04 model year. i'm sure it's been discussed here but i haven't caught any.

any idea what the changes/styling will be like?

It is going to a complete change for 04. Reports say rear wheel drive and more "European" styling.

I haven't seen any reports, pics, or even sketches yet. aepiua, where did you see these reports?

Today I did see a sketch of the 2004 Accord in either Road & Track or Motor Trend. To me it looked very much like a slightly smaller TL with the OEM body kit but with a small spoiler on a slightly taller rear end.

RWD might be nice for performance value, but it's not efficient at all. i'd hate to deal with a chicago winter and RWD, which is why i make fun of IS owners on a regular basis.

acura should try shoving their MDX AWD into a TL. that'd make me bust some proteins.

there's only one thing i don't like about TL's....me wants an AWD.

later,

Well.. there was a post about the new Accord going to be something like 240hp..

this was by putting our engine into it and tuning it down..

so what could this mean?? Our cars going to 280? 290?

I would love to see the next Gen TL come out with AWD, and a 3.5L engine.. that would be so sweet.. but I doubt that will ever happen..

But for sure one thing I would be alot happier with is:

Freakin give us more styling options and cool gadgets like they have on the Inspire!!! :wow:

I am looking forward to trading in my 01 for the 04 TL

May 2002 of Motor Trend shows a sketch of 2003 Honda Acccord.
It look like a slightly modified TL. The magazine says the 3.0L V6 will be carried over; it's rated at 200HP. The next new TL probably will look similar to this 'new' Accord.
