Anyone fairly certain when the 2002TL, not type S will be out? I have heard nearly every month this year. Most people seem to think March or April but the Springfield, NJ dealer said November. I'm getting close to invoice price right now, think I will be able to do the same with the 2002's when they come out? What is everyone's opinions on the 2002 shape? I've heard positive and negative comments on the front, although to me they look the same.

Also..
I have read that some people have bad radio reception. Is this a common problem? I have read press releases stating that the 2002 has improved radio reception which seems to imply that the 2001 does have a problem.

 

Hey, Springfield Acura is where I bought my TL! Who was your dealer? Anywho...not sure when it will debut, prolly sping, April or May.
I don't have any reception problems except for some distant stations. But then its not that important to me I suppose, I listen to CD's mostly anyway.

 

The radio reception in my '99 is better than any car I ever had('87 accord, '95 millenia, '99 Miata)), as well as many other car's I've driven.

I wish Acura would just give an official announcement for when this car is coming out. Everyone has a different answer. I bet Acura is going to wait until most of the 01 inventory is gone. All the dealers are trying very hard to move 01 inventory now.

 

Acura TL NJ, I actually dealt with 3 people at Springfield. Some lady, Helena over the phone, Leo the sales guy, and Eric the manager. What was your out of door price and what extras did you get?

 

Man, i just bought my '01.. I'm not about to upgrade.. no way.. no how.. Good luck getting your cars, just don't drive then around too much the first could of months, i don't want my car to be old before i even got the license plate for it. j/k Its your car, do whatever you wanna do with it..
