just bought my first Acura and I am very impressed.the other day the serpentine belt broke .when I got the car home the gauges were jumping . after I charged the battery nad replaced the belt , I noticed that the needle for the speedo is stuck behind the stop pin. how do I fix this problem

Have you tried tapping on the cluster ? I tried once on another car and it worked, if that doesn't do it then you will have to take out the cluster and set it back.
