Projector retrofit for '99>'01 TL's ...... looking sweet, how difficult was the job ?

The job was not difficult at all since i have done this on my lexus es300 2001. i give it a 5 on a one to ten scale.

^^^ Yeah, totally agree. Now if somebody could come up with a way to incorporate LED's inside the bottom edge of the headlamps. If it's possible, perhaps someone could list the necessary parts and write up a "DIY" for the '99>'01 updated projector project.

projectors are 2.5 inches clear lenses

how did you do that?

First bake open the headlights and remove lenses, and then take out the nasty reflectors both the orange and hid reflector. I then take out the square bracket by removing a screw, then i use the dremel to cut the opening a little bigger to fit the projector inside. the same process for the shrouds. I use a blowdryer to heat up the glue and reseal the lenses back together.
