Well fellas, I did it. I traded in my 2000 WDP TL with Nav for a 2002 WDP Type-S without Nav. The nav wasn't worth it since I spend all of my time in Alabama which isn't detailed. Anyway, I'm still breaking it in so I can't speak of the full power up to redline... yet!

Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

 

I just had to make up the difference between what I owed and what the old car was worth. It came out to be $1300 (2-3 months payments to me). Not too bad. I guess I'll have to trade this one in when there's a 300hp version out...

Very cool, congrats! hope you got a great price on your trade-in; the 3.2Tl really seems to hold it's value.

I bought a new TL-S three weeks ago. Got a fantastic trade-in price on my 1999 3.2TL, Satin Silver non-nav, that I could not pass the deal up.

My train of thought, and action, was . . .

I was pretty much decided on getting another Acura and wanted to look at the new 2002 Acura 3.2TL TypeS that had just come out this March. I did my homework here and at other sites as well BEFORE I went looking. The very first Acura dealership I went to, so I could see and drive the new 2002 Acura 3.2TL TypeS, offered me such a great trade-in price for my '99 3.2TL that I could not say no. I was out lookin' and got hooked. When they made me the offer on my '99 3.2TL my jaw should have dropped but I am in sales so you never show your emotions or what you know or don't know. I thought about the price they had offered for the trade-in that night and I literally could not sleep. I just kept saying "you gotta be a fool not to take that deal and run" So I called the next morning, took the deal, and ran
