1999 Transmission

I know the trans issue has been beaten to death, but do the 1999 with the 4 speed have the same issues as the 2000-2003 5 speeds ?

no, 99 4 speeds are considerably more reliable.

Had a 99 with the original trans up to 227k; got a new one from Acura, let go of car at 273k in March still running strong
