As stated above, it's not really worth it. It would be more worth while to do the Type-S swap, or Type-S swap with 6spd MT.

Very possible. Worth it at all? Definitely not. The 5-speed auto is, if anything, even less reliable than the 4-speed. Even if you have the money, why?

The reason why is because i have a 5 speed tranny i was gonna get a rebuild kit for to beef it up n make it a little stronger but im curious now u guys are saying that 6 speed cl type s tranny is it automatic w ss like the all the tl trannys or are u guys talkin bout a six speed manual? cause i wont hate to have to resort to a manual on my luxury car
